Sleep apnea occurs when your upper airway temporarily collapses during sleep and breathing stops for anywhere from 10 seconds to 1 minute. It’s effects can include drowsiness, headaches, learning & memory disorders, incorrect perception of reality and mood disorders like depression.

Srtrong risk factors are obesity & high blood pressure (among other things, of course). It really is true – everything is interconnected. When you overeat you stress your heart which raises your blood pressure which weakens your upper airway while you’re sleeping.

What We’re Looking For

One way to treat sleep apnea is with a Cpap machine. We talk about this treatment method at great lengths in other posts on this website.

One of the biggest struggles for Cpap users is finding a good fitting mask. We are in search of just that. We are in the process of conducting a survey. We are doing other research. And we invite commentary from visitors to this site. In fact we encourage it.

So,  if you too are searching for “The Most Comfortable CPAP Mask”, hang around or come back often. We will let you know as soon as we find it.
